Forestry mulching is the most efficient way to clear unwanted and nuisance vegetation, especially where the mulch is not required to be retained for future use. This process involves cutting and mulching the vegetation all in one motion and then laying that mulch back onto the ground.
Forestry Mulching is beneficial as it leaves a coarse layer of mulch on the ground which reduces soil erosion, retains soil nutrients and decreases evaporation rates. Mulching is more cost and time effective than carting vegetation waste to disposal facilities.
Forestry Mulching applications include right of way clearing, firebreak installation, plantation and mine site maintenance and rehabilitation, vehicle and personnel access, removal of invasive species and even bushfire rehabilitation.
Our purpose built machines are carefully selected for the project at hand and have no real limitation on vegetation size, have very low ground pressure and can handle inclines of up to 45 degrees.
